"STOLEN TRUCKS ARE STOLEN JOBS"

TRUCK THEFT IS …

    A threat to your livelihood
An increasing problem for the police to tackle with their resources
A prime reason behind rising insurance costs

TruckWatch is a crime prevention initiative run jointly by the Road Haulage Association, the Freight Transport Association (the two largest haulage industry bodies) and the Police. Should a member's vehicle be stolen, it is reported to TruckWatch and the details of the theft are circulated to all other members. This means that there will be over ten thousand pairs of eyes keeping a look out for the stolen vehicle.

The original method of communicating the details of the theft to the members was by fax but, whilst effective, this is a costly and slow process. Now, for the first time, TruckWatch members can post and view stolen vehicle reports directly to this web site. In addition to this, each member can opt to join the TruckWatch mailing list where subscribers receive instant email notification of every stolen vehicle that is reported.

To report a stolen vehicle on this site, you must first be registered. Registration is very straightforward, completely free and will enable you to keep track of any reports that you post. Once you are registered, and you wish to report a stolen vehicle, you need to fill in a Stolen Vehicle form. To do this either follow the link on the main menu or use the 'Add or Remove a Theft Report' button below and at the top and bottom of the list of stolen vehicles.

You may also choose to subscribe to the TruckWatch List. This will mean that you automatically receive an emailed with full details of each report as it is posted. You may subscribe to the TruckWatch List using the form below.
